Streamex was founded to bring transparency and accessibility to the $20T global commodities market through on-chain tokenization. But in 2023, there were no UX playbooks for real-world asset exchanges, especially ones catering to both crypto native users and institutional investors.

Streamex was pre-product, pre-design, and operating in an unproven space. The ask?

“Design the experience that defines what an RWA exchange should be.”

My Role

My Role

I joined as the Founding Designer and led product design across the full experience, from defining early architecture to delivering a high-impact investor demo.


  • Designed the demo that helped secure the Coinbase partnership


  • Led UX for onboarding, asset discovery, order execution, and treasury flows


  • Built the initial product architecture, flow mapping, and modular design system


  • Collaborated closely with founders and engineers to shape features around regulatory, custody, and compliance constraints


  • Designed for edge cases like settlement states, wallet connection issues, and fiat onramps to reduce drop-off


Everything was optimized for speed, clarity, and scale, enabling rapid iteration without fragmenting the UI.

There was no “industry standard” for RWA products, so I studied adjacent spaces (DeFi, fintech, commodities trading) to reverse-engineer what worked. I focused on:


  • Balancing TradFi familiarity with Web3 clarity


  • Building early trust through clear flows and strong UX guardrails

Speed to trust

Rather than polish for polish’s sake, I optimized for clarity and credibility knowing every screen would be seen by investors, institutions, and compliance teams. Every decision was made with the question:


“Would this give BlackRock or Coinbase confidence in us?”

Pivots and iterations

Originally focused on crypto-native traders, the product strategy shifted toward institutional investors. I reworked flows to support asset offerings, compliance clarity, and scalable capital onboarding.

Streamex merged with BioSig Technologies, going public and positioning itself as a first-mover in tokenized commodities.

Design helped the team secure up to $1.1B in capital to expand gold-backed treasury products and accelerate RWA adoption.

Scalable UX Foundation

Delivered a modular design system and product architecture that supported both institutional and crypto-native expansion.
